How to delete all events from's main calendar

I recently messed up with some imports to my calendar and discovered that you cannot delete your main calendar associate with your account. You see, with Google calendar the easiest way to clear all events from the main calendar is to delete the calendar itself and Google will create a new calendar for you. With it was not possible to do that.

Another way to delete all events in a calendar in bulk is using Outlook desktop application.

  1. Link your outlook desktop and sign in with your account on it.
  2. In Calendar within outlook desktop, click View from the ribbon menu.
  3. In the Current View group section, click on Change View, and then select List.
  4. Press ‘Ctrl + A’ to select all events and now press Del to delete them all in one shot.

But of course, considering the behaviour of calendar, it is best to not do imports and other stuff on the main calendar.
